The second song on Love Song's groundbreaking first album, also called Love Song, is titled "Changes," and it's a testimony about having found in Jesus the source and empowerment of a lasting life-change.

I also found this song refreshing because often (in my experience at least), I'm taught to shove my feelings aside (or ignore them) since they can lie to be about reality. But in fact, when I cross-reference my feelings with the Truth of Scripture and God's Church, our feelings can reveal a lot of beauty about God and the changing of the Spirit's work within my life. Emotions (like what the lyrics are reflecting) are a gift from the Spirit and evidence of where my heart is and how I process things around me.
I can't tell you how cool it is for me that you are actually familiar with this album and are contemplating it together with me. "Love the Lord and do what you want!"
